The Darley July Cup is a Group1 Race open to horses aged three years or older. It is one of Britain’s most valuable and prestigious sprint races.

We have selected four horses for you to keep an eye on for the big race at Newmarket. Don’t forget, you can collect points on each bet you place with bet365!

Aidan O’Brien believes Caravaggio is one of the best sprinters he has ever seen. Unbeaten in six starts, Caravaggio will be a firm favourite with many to extend that run to seven.

A stunning turn of foot to overpower Harry Angel and Blue Point in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot last month provides further proof of his imperious form.

Last year’s winner will have his work cut out in another strong field this time around. But a return to form in the Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot, when unlucky to only finish third, suggests that Limato is over his poor showing in Dubai at the start of the year.

Harry Bentley will once again be the jockey after being replaced by Ryan Moore at Ascot, and the combination is the most likely to prevent Caravaggio from adding to his ever-growing reputation.

Harry Angel

Harry Angel was agonisingly close to upsetting the odds in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot, before Caravaggio’s pace eventually ended his challenge.

Royal Ascot showed that Harry Angel is a force to be reckoned with, and trainer Clive Cox will be hopeful of mounting another challenge at Newmarket.

The Tin Man

The five-year-old is yet to experience Newmarket but his form suggests that he has the sprinting power to challenge the very best.

After winning the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot, The Tin Man has now won two Group 1 races, and it would be foolish to rule out a third this weekend.
