Join Newmarket Racecourses as the eyes of the world descend on the picturesque July Course for the Moët & Chandon July Festival. Enjoy three days of world-class horse racing, fabulous fashion and musical entertainment. The highlight on the track is the prestigious Darley July Cup on Saturday, which is Europe’s leading sprint race.
Over the past few years we have seen some scintillating renewals of this race, including US Navy Flag in 2018, the wonderful Limato in 2016 or Hayley Turner’s first Group One winner with Dream Ahead in 2011. This year’s renewal is something to savour as many of its previous winners have been crowned Europe’s Champion Sprinter.
Not to forget the other fascinating racing over the Festival, including The Princess Of Wales’s Tattersalls Stakes where Poet’s Word was an impressive winner last year and The Tattersalls Falmouth Stakes on the Friday where winners have gone on to some fantastic honours including Alpha Centauri in 2018 and who could forget Goldikova in 2009. There are 7 group races across 3 unforgettable days of racing.
While off the track, the fashion highlight is The Style Awards which runs across all three days, starting with Ladies’ Day on Thursday.
This year’s Style awards are set to be bigger and better than ever! Our best dressed lady will be crowned on the Thursday where we are also launching the brand new Milliners competition, followed by best dressed Gentleman on the Friday and best dressed couple on the Saturday.
If you are looking to make your day extra special, we have limited availability in the Moët and Chandon Dining experience. We have a brand new experience this year with the Moët and Chandon White Party on the Friday and Saturday of The July Festival.
