The Cheltenham & South West Syndicate is an experience not to be missed.

Designed to bring the very best racing ownership experience to you, the membership combines members’ access to Cheltenham, Exeter, Warwick and Wincanton for TWO Jump Racing seasons: 2018-19 and 2019-20, with a share in three promising young horses.

Our trainers, Nicky Henderson, Neil Mulholland, and Kim Bailey are household names amongst the racing fraternity boosting world-class training facilities, and owners’ hospitality that is second to none.

There is something quite special about sharing the experience with fellow members, the fun, the thrill, and the excitement. With superb trips organised along the way and hospitality at The Cheltenham Festival over two seasons, it’s all about sharing the dream and hopefully picking up a Festival™ winner along the way.

As one of our ambassadors, Lee McKenzie comments: "With three fantastic horses, I can’t wait to watch them develop over the next couple of seasons. After my work helping Cheltenham with our series of films last year it's great to delve further into the magic of racing; there is certainly no one that does it better. "

Carolines Charm, trained by Neil came from Ireland as one of the higher point-to-pointers. He has shown great attitude to racing in two starts so far.

At Warwick in December he made his debut for the syndicate in a bumper over 2m 1f finishing eighth, throughout the race he travelled on the keen side showing his inexperience before getting tired in the last furlong. Exeter on 20th January proved a significant step forward settling well out the back, however, the race was run slowly from the off turning into a sprint finish on tacky ground. It was a taking performance to come from behind none the less.

Hes No Trouble made his debut at Warwick on the same card as Carolines Charm in December. Trained by Kim, he raced very competitively in a strong maiden hurdle before getting tired after the last which he was entitled to do as a big scopey horse. He looks sure to improve next time and should hold an entry in the coming weeks.

Nicky Henderson trains Diamond River, who is due to make his appearance in late spring, he has been working impressively at home, with Nicky reporting, “Of all my four-year-olds he is certainly showing a lot at home, not only is he forward but very capable too.”

Susan Williams, who was a member of our 2016-2018 syndicate and has renewed for the next two seasons commented: “If you enjoy Jump Racing then The Jockey Club South West Syndicate is the one to join.”

“Over the last two years, we have had some superb stable visits to all three of our trainers where we have been looked after exceptionally well. Alongside this, we have seen all the facilities and received the full ownership experience.”

“We have been lucky enough to have a tour of the Weatherbys Headquarters, the gallops at Lambourn, and last but not least an exciting racing trip and stay at Punchestown. To top that all off, we were so fortunate to have three winning horses!”

“For two years you have access to four racecourses at any time, with Cheltenham, the Home of Jump Racing, being the centrepiece. You could not ask for better treatment or access to the very best racing.”
