Join us for England’s only mixed Flat and Jumps raceday, in a unique fixture that offers the best of both worlds!
Find that perfect spot in the County enclosure and immerse yourself in the sharp end of racing, with views over the home-straight and the Finishing Post. Before racing, The Haydock Band will be performing a rendition of pop hits in brass on the mini-Moet Lawn to entertain racegoers.
Our house band, The Sound, will perform to the Makerfield Lawn crowd throughout the afternoon and for an hour after racing.
Whatever gets your heart racing, this is a day for sports fans!
NEW FOR THIS YEAR - We’re extending the mini-Moet lawn, in the County Enclosure, to include more seating and opportunities to purchase other drinks. Soak up the atmosphere course-side and be part of our exclusive area!
Join us this bank holiday Saturday, as the Armed Forces showcase the very best of all three services: the Army, Navy and Air Force.
Be greeted with a warm welcome to Haydock Park as The Royal Artillery, Lancashire Artillery Volunteers Band perform for your arrival. The Royal Air Force Cadets Band sees the 14yr - 18yr old members perform in front of the stands, as they roam the racecourse throughout the day, and 103 Regiment Royal Artillery Pipes and Drums will be located in the Paddock, performing, as well as being available for selfies with Haydock Park's racing trophies!
Visit the military village, located in the Be Friendly enclosure, with a whole host of things to see and do including tanks, artillery units, a climbing wall and dog-tag making! Use the hashtag #HorsesforForces on the day and share your experience on the big screens across the site.
Course-side, see the Spitfire fly past, whilst the Red Devils will be parachuting over the track, during racing, in a spectacular display.
Alongside the military will be the BCS Pony Club, giving our younger visitors a flavour of pony racing. Meet a real-life racehorse and take a bitesize lesson at ‘Jockey School’. Discover the equipment used by jockeys and horses in a race and then design your own racing silks to be in with a chance of winning a personalised QIPCO British Champions Series jacket!
For those wanting live music, find a seat on the Makerfield Lawn and be entertained by our house band, The Sound who will be performing throughout the afternoon and for an hour after racing.
Of course, there will be quality racing from the track, as the Temple Stakes, one of the most premium Saturday racing fixtures at Haydock Park, is run once again.
