Are you ready for the Biggest Race Day in Wales?

Chepstow will open its gates for the annual Coral Welsh Grand National meeting on Thursday 27th December 2018.

There are 7 races on the card which are set to be fiercely competitive, with the first race taking place at 12.35pm. The Grade 1 Coral Future Champions Finale Juvenile Hurdle is always a race that reveals excellent talent such as last year’s winner, the Nicky Henderson trained We Have A Dream.

The feature of the day is The Coral Welsh Grand National Steeplechase, previous winners include the heartwarming story of Dream Alliance, the 2013 and 2015 dual winning Mountainous, the 2018 Gold Cup winning Native River, and last year’s winner, the Irish trained 13-year-old Raz De Maree ridden by the 2018 Champion Conditional jockey James Bowen.

It is the perfect way to end the Christmas festivities with friends and family, with plenty of welsh themed entertainment throughout the day, including singing from Chepstow Musical Youth Theatre, The Bridgend Male Voice Choir, a performance from jazz band The Hipcats in our more relaxed Wye Valley marquee, children’s entertainment and to end the day, a Tom Jones tribute after racing in our lively Bonanza Boy marquee.

Tickets start from only £29.00 per person in advance and can be purchased through the website. Use your Rewards4Racing points for the best possible price.
